Privacy policy

This policy explains what PK to BD (“we”) collects when you use our website and the PK to BD app to order Pakistani dresses, and what we do with it.

What we collect

  • Account details: your name, email address and WhatsApp number, which you give us when you ask for an account.
  • Order details: order date, where you bought from, price, status, payment status and shipment.
  • Order screenshots: the picture of your order that you upload.
  • A login cookie that keeps you signed in on your device until you log out.
  • Order update notices: short messages about changes to your orders and shipments, shown as notifications in the Android app if you allow them. They are kept for 60 days.

We do not use advertising, tracking or analytics in the app, and the app does not access your contacts, camera, location or files. You choose each screenshot yourself with your phone’s file picker. Notifications come straight from our website: the app checks it for updates now and then, and no other company is involved. You can turn notifications off in your phone’s settings.

Why we use it

Only to run your orders: to receive and track them, to send you updates, to keep account of payments, and to contact you on WhatsApp or by phone about your orders.

Who can see it

Only you and our team (admins and moderators who manage orders). We do not sell your data or share it with anyone else. When you send an order on WhatsApp, the message goes from your own WhatsApp to ours. Our website is stored with our hosting provider, which keeps it on our behalf.

How long we keep it

  • Order screenshots are deleted 1 month after the order is delivered, cancelled or refunded, and 3 months after it was placed at the latest.
  • Delivered orders are deleted 1 year after delivery; other orders 2 years after they were placed.
  • Your account stays until you delete it or ask us to.

Security

The website and app only connect over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Passwords are stored in a scrambled (hashed) form for logging in, and only our admins can see account details.

Delete your account

You can delete your account and all of your data at any time:

  1. Open the order portal on our website or in the app, and log in.
  2. Tap Account at the top, then Delete my account.
  3. Enter your password and confirm.

Your account is deleted 7 days later, together with all your orders, screenshots and notifications. During those 7 days you can still log in and tap Cancel deletion (Account at the top) if you change your mind. After that, the data is gone for good. If you can’t log in, message us on WhatsApp or email pktobd@email.com and we will delete it within 7 days.
